Google removed nearly double the amount of “bad ads” from its digital conduit from the previous year. Google is making an effort to maintain their online ecosystem by banning ads showcasing unregulated products, such as ads promoting the current crypto-currency craze.

Pinterest is exploring free weekly webinars for businesses. They cover a range of topics every Wednesday. The subjects appeal to businesses just getting started on the platform all the way to experienced pinners.

Native advertising growth is projected to slow down next year. These ads look and perform like the content of a specific media platform. The native advertisement spending forecast for 2019 projects that it will account for 61% of total digital display ad spending, a decrease from last year’s 64%. This decline in growth is in response to marketers’ decreased allocation of digital advertising budgets to social media.
