She currently has 2.3 million TikTok followers and is hosting Hootsuite’s Main Street Tour – traveling across the continental U.S. to create content and capture the stories of small businesses. She was previously named one of 2020’s Digital Business Women’s Female Tech Leaders and her first book is due to release in 2023.

If you could go back and give your younger self any advice, what would it be?

Maayan: I think definitely reading earlier. I think that would’ve helped me from an emotional perspective greatly. But I’m also of the mindset of like, if I had to go back and redo everything, I’d probably redo it exactly the same, because I am really happy with where my life is now.

If you weren't a marketer, what do you think you would be?

Maayan: I love reading, writing, and research. So what I’m doing now is spending a lot of time writing my first book. I think that’s gonna be a lifelong passion. I also love art. I continued blowing glass even after I stopped selling glass. It’s very meditative. It’s very therapeutic and it feels wonderful to create something beautiful.
