Challenge: The Green Valley Book Fair was opening for the season and needed to let their audience know when they would be open and feature a selection of their new inventory.
Solution: Gravity Group planned and produced an integrated campaign that included traditional media, web banners, email, and a unique radio partnership with a local radio group.
This unique program included live on-air mentions and giveaways so that listeners heard their favorite talent talking about the book fair and had a chance to win book fair prizes and gift cards. On-air talent talked about specific books and items available at the book fair throughout the week, and listeners had the opportunity to call in to win. This changed radio from being just an outlet to broadcast a message to a two-way conversation in which listeners could engage with the on-air talent. Listeners also visited the book fair looking for the products that were mentioned on air.
