Challenge: DuPont Community Credit Union wanted to reinforce their genuine commitment to the Shenandoah Valley community and their continued support of all of their members’ stories. DCCU’s message needed to accurately portray their credit union as a member-focused financial institution, since their story is truly the community’s story. DCCU’s campaign needed to reflect the values and beliefs of the people they enthusiastically serve — the hardworking and determined members of the Shenandoah Valley.
Solution: Gravity Group collaborated with DCCU to produce an integrated campaign around an archetype character, or portrait, of a DCCU member in the Shenandoah Valley. Creating television spots, radio, print, and digital components, this campaign followed the story of a quintessential DCCU member and their life in the Valley. DCCU’s roots go all the way back to 1959, serving their members with dedication and making positive and impactful change in their lives. This honest, compelling, and heartfelt campaign illustrates their commitment to the local community and creates a relatable storyline for viewers to follow and appreciate.
