OK, it’s time to talk about the big blog post goose egg I laid a few years ago.
When Starbucks came out with its newer, sleeker brand identity, I kicked up quite the fuss. Oh, I was all indignant and full of opinions, wasn’t I!
“[Starbucks’] recent re-branding announcement scares the heck out of me. It’s not just because of what they’re doing to their logo – that’s enough for a whole other blog post.”
Sure, what I wrote back then had more to do with how the brand was starting to diversify…but I kind of ripped on their revitalized logo a bit, as well.
…well, Starbucks, after some years of seeing your brand identity roll out in all of its simple and understated beauty, this one’s for you.
